Between August 12th and 17th, 2018, the 21st World Congress on Soil Science will take place in Rio de Janeiro - RJ.

Within the Congress there will be the Remote Sensing Symposium, organized by the Geocis group, this will be the first Remote Sensing Symposium (SR) as part of the World Congress on Soil Science. The event will have 90 posters, 3 international speakers and 6 selected oral presentations. During the symposia, we will be pleased to see several platforms / sensors such as Landsat, Sentinel, EnMAP and Aisa. In addition, the works demonstrated the variety and power of SR in soil science, applied in several disciplines, such as soil survey, mapping, digital soil mapping, precision agriculture and environmental monitoring.
